The Associate Attorney will be responsible for managing multiple matters simultaneously, specializing in registered investment companies, investment advisers, and federal securities laws compliance. Duties:Efficiently manage multiple matters concurrently within investment servicesProvide legal guidance on regulatory and compliance issues related to federal securities lawsHandle matters concerning registered investment companies and investment advisersConduct comprehensive research and analysis on relevant legal matters Requirements:Juris Doctor (JD) degree with outstanding academic credentialsAdmission to the Bar in relevant jurisdiction or in the process of becoming admitted4-6 years of experience in investment services, with a focus on registered investment companies and investment advisersProficient understanding of regulatory and compliance matters regarding federal securities laws, including the Investment Company Act of 1940 and the Securities Act of 1933 Education Certifications:Juris Doctor (JD) degree Skills:Strong multitasking abilities for managing multiple matters simultaneouslyAnalytical skills for conducting legal research and problem-solvingIn-depth knowledge of federal securities laws and regulations, particularly the Investment Company Act of 1940 and the Securities Act of 1933 This mid-sized, East Coast law firm practices within three general areas of the law: corporate, labor and employment, and litigation.
