The Associate Attorney will play a vital role within the Fund Formation Investment Management (FFIM) Practice Group, contributing expertise in fund structuring, management, compliance, and client interaction. Duties:Lead fund formation initiatives, including structuring and managementNegotiate side letters and secondary sales agreements proficientlyEnsure compliance with the Investment Advisers Act regulationsDraft and review complex legal documents with precision and sophisticationManage intricate projects and transactions effectively Requirements:Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-approved law schoolActive membership in good standing with the Bar of relevant jurisdiction(s)2-5 years of experience in fund formation and investment managementStrong document drafting skillsComfortable engaging directly with senior partners and clientsPositive attitude, exceptional work ethic, and strong interpersonal skillsDesire to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment Education Certifications:JD from an ABA-approved law schoolAdmission to the Bar in relevant jurisdiction(s) Skills:Solid fund formation and investment management experienceProficiency in fund and management structuringStrong negotiation skills for side letters and secondary salesKnowledge of Investment Advisers Act regulations and complianceExcellent interpersonal skillsAbility to manage complex projects and transactions efficiently A well-known, top-drawer firm with an especially strong health care practice, this firm offers offices across the U.S. in addition to European and Asian outposts.
