The role involves handling strategic commercial agreements, including collaboration, license, outsourcing, and joint venture agreements. Exceptional credentials and qualifications related to the pharmaceutical and life sciences industry are highly preferred.Duties:Conduct legal research and analysis on technology and intellectual property issues.Draft and negotiate complex agreements, including mergers and acquisitions, collaboration, license, outsourcing, and joint venture agreements.Provide legal counsel on matters related to life sciences transactions.Work closely with clients to understand their business objectives and provide strategic legal advice.Assist in due diligence processes for corporate transactions.Stay updated on legal developments and industry trends affecting technology and intellectual property transactions.Requirements:3-6 years of legal experience in technology and intellectual property transactions.Strong background in life sciences transactions.Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.Admitted to practice law in the state of New York.Preferred Qualifications:Outstanding credentials and qualifications related to the pharmaceutical and life sciences industry.Experience in advising clients on strategic commercial agreements.Skills:Excellent legal research and analytical skills.Strong negotiation and drafting skills.Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.Familiarity with the regulatory landscape in the pharmaceutical and life sciences industry.Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.Certifications:Admission to the New York State Bar.
