This is a Paid Part-Time Summer Internship Position What We’re Looking For Travelpro is seeking an HR Intern to join our Human Resources team! This part-time internship will focus on various human resources initiatives, and provide an opportunity to gain on-the-job experience at a leading Consumer Products Goods (CPG) company and learn what it is like to work in a fast-paced collaborative environment. What You’ll Do In this role you will assess and assist with the continuous roll out of the HR function for our employees. You will also: Design and update job descriptions. Source potential candidates from various online channels (e.g. social media and professional platforms). Craft recruiting emails to attract passive candidates. Screen incoming resumes and application forms. Advertise job openings on company’s careers page, social media, job boards and internally. Send job offer emails and answer queries about compensation and benefits. Collaborate with managers to identify future hiring needs. Act as a consultant to new hires and help them onboard. Produce and submit reports on general HR activity. Keep up-to-date with the latest HR trends and best practices. Assist with payroll and HR projects. Perform other duties as assigned. What You’ll Need Must be a Sophomore, Junior or Senior in college obtaining a bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or another related field. Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for current or future work authorization or visa sponsorship. Must be local (WPB, Broward and Dade candidates ONLY!!)
