Memory Support Director Full time - Salaried Assists the Health & Wellness Director and/or Assistant Director of Wellness Services in overseeing and coordinating the day-to-day operation and care of residents in the Mira Vie Memory Care Unit. Educates and empowers staff to emulate the concepts of assisted living and Alzheimer's/Dementia care. Ensures that staff works to enhance quality of life for residents with a progressive debilitative disease. Assist the residents with dementia to maintain maximum level of cognition and function. Assists with family members to offer support, resolve concerns, and educate them as needed regarding their Memory Care resident. Develops and promotes therapeutic recreational programs including, but not limited to, music, dance, arts and crafts, cultural presentations, social recreation and games. Adapts programs that enhance the quality of life for memory care residents. All candidates are required to conduct a physical & drug screen. Job Posted by ApplicantPro
