Diesel Mechanic

Turner Industries Group is looking for an experienced Diesel and Heavy Equipment Mechanic for the Houston, TX area. The successful candidate will have a background working on large diesel engines - Cat, Cummins, Detroit - as well as experience diagnosing and repairing hydraulic systems on heavy equipment such as cranes and dirt moving machinery, and dump beds. This is a long-term position based at our campus in Houston with: 40 Hours+ Overtime and call-outs as needed - overtime paid at time-and-a-half Health, (BCBS) Dental, (Delta) Vision, and Life insurance available 401k with employer match from day 1, no vesting required Short/ Long-term disability available Tadano, Grove, or Liebherr certification preferred The successful candidate will be responsible for entering various petrochemical sites and performing repairs on existing equipment, primarily cranes. This will require a TWIC card, the ability to pass a background check, and attend HASC for training requirements to enter facilities. It will also require a valid Driver's License to drive a company repair truck. Per diem and relocation is not available for this position; the successful candidate will be a current resident in the Houston metro area.
