Job Summary As a Medical Transportation Driver, your primary tasks include safely operating a van to provide non emergent transport for our patients. You'll also be responsible for operating a gurney as needed for safe and comfortable transport and providing assistance in boarding and exiting the vehicle. Sanitizing equipment and van interior after each transport and ensuring van cleanliness and order of supplies fall under your purview, along with maintaining the van in operable condition . Maintaining a clean and organized work environment is key, and you will adhere to all relevant safety rules, regulations, policies, and procedures. Success in this role demands the ability to follow instructions closely and operate in an orderly manner. Hard-working, focused individuals with outstanding interpersonal skills in regard to customers and coworkers will excel in this position. You may also be assigned other duties as necessary, all while contributing to a work environment that supports and values employees. Desired Skills & Qualifications At least 1 year transport experience preferred Ability to relate well to staff and other professionals Must be at least 18 years of age to apply Ability to work independently and remain calm in case of emergency Ability to lift, push, pull and position patients frequently Service oriented mindset & Compassionate and caring attitude Effective verbal & written communication & time management skills Must be able to lift up to 50lbs frequently Valid Driver's License with proof of current insurance & excellent driving record Ability to pass Criminal Background Check Valid AZ Fingerprint Clearance Card Current CPR Certification & Proof of Negative TB Test We celebrate diversity, are committed to fostering an inclusive environment for all employees and have a Zero Tolerance policy for workplace discrimination.
