Location of Position: The Woodlands, TX The Position: The Corporate Accountant is the accounting hub of the Signorelli portfolio with responsibilities at the corporate desk having exposure to the whole organization. This includes being an integral part of the investment arm and management company, facilitating cash flow projections, and being a key team member in corporate initiatives. This position directly reports to the Senior Corporate Accountant and will have ownership of many key accounting processes. The successful candidate will need to be able to manage a catalogue of weekly tasks but also willing to be a jack of all trades who enjoys getting involved with all facets of the company. Position Responsibilities: Process transactional accounting (invoice coding, cash disbursements, cash receipts) for Corporate and other entities Perform month-end close process (reconciliations, accruals, and checklist completeness) Facilitate budget and forecast creation; manage variance commentary Own ad hoc requests for Corporate, primarily surrounding reconciliation review and reporting. Facilitate process efficiencies, documenting and adhering to SOP's Facilitate Corporate cash forecast and reporting. Create and initially review individual entity and Divisional management reports and financial statements. Create intercompany invoicing for fees, allocations, insurance, benefits, and other corporate transactions Review and settle intercompany AR/AP with Corporate, related entities Perform other projects and related duties as assigned. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree from an accredited university in accounting. 0-2 years of related experience. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially E xcel . Working knowledge of basic accounting and exposure to corporate/intercompany accounting. Desired Skills and Competencies: Excellent organizational and time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Professional manner and a strong ethical code. Ability to multitask and remain motivated and positive. Commitment to working efficiently and accurately.
