Independence Rehab is actively looking to hire a full-time or PRN Speech Language Pathologist to float between our skilled nursing facilities in the Twin Falls area: Cove of Cascadia (Bellevue), Lincoln County Care Center (Shoshone), Desert View Care Center (Buhl), Oak Creek Rehabilitation (Kimberly), and Mini Cassia Care Center (Burley).At Independence Rehab, our goal in a skilled nursing facility (SNF) is to provide each patient with top-quality care. We strive to maximize each patient's functional independence to safely discharge her/him to the next level of care.We are a people-first organization. Really! Our guiding motto is leading with integrity, empowering people, delivering outcomes.Here are a few preferred practice-specific competencies in a SNF setting: Dysphagia assessment & interventions Voice, communication, language, and cognition interventions Requirements: Current SLP license in good standing CCC's are preferred but we are happy to entertain CFY applicants. We have resources for supervision as needed Master's Degree in SLP from an accredited College or University Organized, self-starter with a love for the geriatric population Our preference is a therapist who has worked at least one year in a skilled nursing facility, but if you are caring, passionate, licensed therapist who enjoys the geriatric population, we would love to hear from you!
