Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Histology Technician Discipline: Allied Health Professional Start Date: ASAP Duration: Ongoing 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours Employment Type: Staff Organizes, and staffs the work activities of the laboratory during each shift to provide laboratory services to neonate, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients REQUIRED Four (4) years’ experience as a histology technician and have ASCP certification as a histology technician. Computer skills: knowledge of MS Office (MS Word, Excel); basic statistics skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Must submit to color vision acuity test. Color vision acuity is required to safely perform the duties of this position. PREFERRED BS degree in science Certified as a HT or HTL (ASCP).
