Exciting opportunity to join a global bank as VP, Counsel, handling a wide range of contracts, loan documentation and general legal matters.Client DetailsGlobal bank.Description The VP, Counsel will legal advice and services to business departments concerning commercial banking transactions, vendor arrangements, litigation matters, legal and regulatory requirements and expectations, and corporate governance issues Draft, review, and negotiate contracts and advise on legal risks associated with deals Advise on the Bank's legal issues, services and more Assist with special projects as neededProfile JD Admitted to NY State Bar Experience drafting and negotiating contracts for a bank, related to financing transactions, commercial lending, loan documents, commercial credit documents, etc. At least four years of experience working at a large law firm, and/or in-house at large financial servicesinstitution Relevant experience in dealing with a broad range of credit and financetransactions Excellent written and verbal communication skills Team player Fluency in Mandarin a plus Job Offer Competitive base salary Bonus Additional benefits 4 days per week in officeMPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
