We are seeking a compassionate and organized Medical Assistant to join our client's team in Katonah. As a Medical Assistant, you will work closely with physicians, nurses, and other medical professionals to provide exceptional patient care and support in a clinical setting. What's in it for you? Location: Katonah, NY Pay: $20-22/hour plus benefits and weekly pay! Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:30am-5:30pm Environment: Fast-paced & team-oriented Responsibilities: Assist healthcare providers in delivering patient care, including preparing patients for examinations, recording medical histories, and taking vital signs. Perform administrative duties such as scheduling appointments, managing patient records, and handling billing and insurance documentation. Prepare examination rooms, sterilize equipment, and ensure the availability of necessary supplies. Educate patients and their families on healthcare procedures and self-care techniques. Collect and prepare specimens for laboratory testing, following proper protocols. Maintain effective communication with patients, families, and healthcare team members. Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain a clean and organized environment. Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and compliance with regulatory standards. Qualifications: * MUST BE VACCINATED* (booster not required) Medical Assistant Certification OR at least 1 year of clinical experience required Basic understanding of medical terminology, procedures, and documentation.
