What you will be doing The Parts Manager directs and coordinates the activities of personnel engaged in selling and distributing parts and supplies. Essential Functions & Responsibilities: Establishes policies and procedures to maximize inventory security and minimize loss. Builds loyal clientele and fosters good relationships with customers. Assists General Manager with setting and obtaining sales and profit objectives. Helps prepare and administer the annual operating budget. Collaborates with the Accounting Department on all accounting schedules related to the Parts Department. Assists with collecting past due accounts. Works with other department managers to resolve interdepartmental challenges. Education and/or required experience: Familiar with parts operations, shipping and receiving procedures. Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to interact with all levels of the organization. Experience with ADP preferable. Strong math and computer skills. Strong time management skills, ability to effectively handle multiple projects concurrently. Positive attitude / self-motivated; works independently to resolve issues and problems as well as ability to work in a team environment. Must be able to prioritize and work well under pressure in a fast-paced deadline driven environment. Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
