The ideal candidate should have interest and experience in handling litigation and/or representing governmental entities.Job Overview: The Litigation Attorney will represent clients in civil and commercial litigation matters. They will handle all aspects of the litigation process, from initial client consultation to trial and appeal.Duties:Represent clients in court proceedings, including hearings, motions, and trials.Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents.Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and third parties to negotiate settlements and resolve disputes.Attend depositions, mediations, and other legal proceedings on behalf of clients.Provide legal advice and guidance to clients on litigation-related matters.Requirements:3-7 years of experience practicing law, focusing on litigation.Interest and experience in handling litigation and/or representing governmental entities.Superior academic credentials from an accredited law school.Admission to the Indiana State Bar, or eligibility for admission by reciprocity.Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.Self-motivated and well-organized with the ability to manage multiple complex projects.Strong work ethic and commitment to providing high-quality legal representation.Education:Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.Certifications:Admission to the Indiana State Bar, or eligibility for admission by reciprocity.Skills:Excellent legal research and writing skills.Ability to analyze complex legal issues and develop effective legal strategies.Negotiation and dispute resolution skills.Attention to detail and accuracy in legal work.Proficiency in legal software and research tools.
