Join team designing a wide range of automated high placement accuracy machines for different stages of high spped consumer products packaging lines. Typical components of cell machines designed: *** Impactive End Effectors - Jaws and claws which physically grasp by direct impact upon substrates. *** Ingressive End Effectors - Pins, needles and hackles which physically penetrate the surface of components. *** Astrictive End Effectors - Vacumm or magnetic suction force applied to the components and substrates. *** Contigutive End Effectors - Requiring direct contact for adhesion by glue, surface tension, freezing, etc. ). *** Linear motor driven XYZ motion systems *** Rotary motion systems. *** Thermal bonders *** Miniature robotic gantries *** Fillers, cappers, labelers *** Dispensers *** UV curing systems *** Coating chambers. *** Vacumm pumps. *** Chassis, sheetmetal cabinetry, power supply and wiring, pneumatic and hydraulic plumbing, etc. *** Joy stick controllers. REQUIREMENTS: *** BS Degree in Mechanical Engineering *** 4+ years of hands-on expeience using 2D & 3D design and modeling software. *** Proficiency with stress and failure analysis calculations including GD&T (Geometrical Dimensioning & Tolerancing), FEA (Finite Element Analysis) AND CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics). *** Track record designing multi-axis motion mechanisms.
