This position focuses on handling cases related to construction, product liability, premises liability, and auto accidents. The successful candidate will manage all phases of litigation from inception through resolution and must be skilled in research, drafting legal documents, and courtroom representation.Job Duties:Review case files and conduct legal analysis of claims and causes of action.Perform extensive legal research and draft substantial legal documents, including briefs, memos, pleadings, and appellate briefs.Achieve a minimum of 1950 billable hours per year.Regularly represent clients in court, arbitrations, and depositions.Draft and respond to discovery requests and manage the retention and collaboration with expert witnesses.Lead trial preparations and attend trials as required.Participate in negotiations and mediation.Travel as necessary to meet the demands of cases and clients.Requirements:Minimum of 3 years of civil litigation experience, specifically in construction, product liability, premises liability, or auto.Familiarity with managing civil cases from inception to conclusion.Experience in taking and defending depositions, including 30(b)(6) and expert depositions.Proven ability to draft and argue substantive motions, attend hearings and manage trials.Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an ABA-approved law school.Admission to practice in New Jersey (NJ) and Pennsylvania (PA); licensure in additional states is considered an asset.Exceptional writing, research, and litigation skills.Education:Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an ABA-approved law school.Certifications:Admitted to practice in NJ PA; additional state admissions desirable.Skills:Strong legal research and writing capabilities.Excellent litigation and courtroom skills.Proficient in managing multiple cases and able to work under pressure.Effective communication skills for negotiating and interacting with clients and opposing counsel.Organizational skills for handling large caseloads efficiently.Benefits:Comprehensive healthcare benefits.Retirement benefits include a 401k with employer match.Employee wellness program to support health and well-being.Mentoring program to foster professional growth and development.This role is ideal for a diligent and proactive attorney looking to advance their career in a dynamic and supportive environment.
