Perks for Working with NFI: Sign-On Bonus of $2,000 paid out within the first 90 days of employment - Dedicated internal company fleet NFI maintains all major tools 401(K) with company match PTO accrued on day one of employment - estimated 13 days per year Paid Holidays - 8 days per year Medical, Dental, RX, Vision, Disability, & Life Insurance Virtual physical therapy program Boot Allowance Program Uniform & all safety PPE provided Career training & development opportunities ASE Certification reimbursement & assist with study materials Apprenticeship Program Schedule: -Monday - Friday 6:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. or 7:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Pay: -$25 - $32.50/hr for less than 6 years of experience / up to $35/hr - pay is determined on years of experience and ASE certifications Sign-On Bonus: $2,000 NFI Division: Fleet Services Contact the team @ 833-205-7250Your responsibilities as a Lead Diesel Technician will include, but are not limited to: Handle organization and tracking of PO's - Organize the shop workload for the shop technicians Be able to order parts for the shop Work well with the Shop Service Manager on leadership tasks Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical tractor and trailer-related issues using standard testing procedures and computer diagnostic equipment Performance preventive maintenance on our fleet of trucks & trailers Perform DOT inspection per FMSCA guidelines Physically capable to perform all job duties, which includes being able to lift and/or pull 75 lbs or more without restriction, stand or lie for extended periods, and have flexible movement to reach equipment. To become part of the NFI team you: Must have a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record - Own necessary essential tools Have a technical or advanced degree or 5+ -years of equivalent maintenance experience Have the ability to obtain a Class B license ASE Certification in 4 areas (preventative maintenance and brakes preferred) All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, or veteran status.
