What We Need: We are looking for a Maintenance Technician to join our HBF team in Hickory, NC! Repairs and maintains production machinery and mechanical equipment in a safe, dependable and timely manner that meets production and/or service needs. 2nd shift: Monday thru Thursday, 2:00pm to 12:30am What You Will Do: Installs and maintains machinery by using hand and power tools. Selects proper materials needed for job task. Performs preventative maintenance. Repairs drive units, hydraulic systems and bearing replacement. Performs basic electrical repairs. Disassembles machinery and equipment to gain access to and remove defective parts (weights vary up to 50 lbs.) Repairs or replaces defective parts. Installs special functional and structural parts in equipment. Lubricates and cleans parts. Performs general tasks such as painting, plumbing, plant and grounds clean-up and other general maintenance items. What You Have: Minimum 3+ years' experience in Maintenance What You're Good At: Maintenance and repair of production machinery, CNC experience is a plus. Preventative maintenance and repairs.
