Structural EngineerMid-Level Full-time position in Carbondale, Colorado $75,000 - $110,000 annual salary -- mid level (4-10 years) We are recruiting for our client in Carbondale, CO. Our client is located in a mountain resort community. Join our team and work on exciting projects such as: luxury custom residential, commercial, resort, multi-family, community, forensic & historic projects We currently support the Western Slope of Colorado, including Carbondale, Aspen, Snowmass Village, Basalt, Glenwood Springs, Ouray, Ridgway, Telluride, Gypsum, Eagle, Avon, Vail, Gunnison & Crested Butte. This is an on-site position (no remote). Base Qualifications: B.S. and/or M.S. in Architectural, Civil or Structural Engineering Minimum of EIT certification, along with or working towards a Colorado PE/SE license Mid- level Structural Engineer (4-10 years experience) Structural Engineer Responsibilities: Design building structures of wood, steel, concrete, masonry & other materials Continually learn & apply structural engineering principles & applicable building/design codes Continually learn, develop and integrate sustainable structural design practices (reduce carbon footprint) Collaborate effectively, internally & externally Produce clear, concise structural drawings and calculations Provide excellent construction administration, including field observations & formal reports Efficiently use structural analysis software, including RISA, Dlubal, Enercalc, Forte, etc Efficiently use documentation & collaboration software, including Bluebeam, AutoCAD, Revit &/or Archicad to communicate with in-house drafting/modeling team Foster strong relationships with our community, clients, architects, contractors, fabricators, engineers & building departments Be ethical, professional, proactive & thoughtful Additional Experience of Interest (not required): Historic structures Forensic assessment & engineering Advanced BIM experience Advanced knowledge of industry applicable technology Benefits: A supportive & engaged team Paid time off, paid holidays, paid team outings Simple IRA with employer matching contribution Competitive health insurance Support for continuing education & professional industry engagement Growth & ownership potential Flexible work environment Ski passes & company ski days #LI-DN1 Pay commensurate with experience We are not able to sponsor applicants requiring work visas Qualified applicants will be contacted A resume and cover letter are required to apply.
