Description:
Job Description: We are looking for a talented and experienced Project Lead Designer to join our growing New York team. In this client-focused role, you'll be responsible for driving sales, leading a design team, and managing projects from initial contact to successful completion. Responsibilities: Project Ownership: You'll be the owner of your projects, responsible for achieving sales targets, ensuring designs are on-brand and meet target margins, and delivering exceptional customer service. Closing Sales: Lead clients from initial contact through the entire sales process, securing agreement on designs, timelines, contracts, and pricing within company guidelines. Design Leadership: Provide design direction to a team, developing bespoke kitchen, dressing room, and other interior design concepts that meet client briefs. Develop quotations for furniture and third-party products. Sign-off Authority: Drive design development, ensuring all information is complete before moving projects to the technical phase. Relationship Management: Exceed client expectations for service levels, upholding the high standards associated with a luxury brand. Qualifications: Proven sales experience with a track record of achieving targets.The ability to create beautiful, bespoke design concepts tailored to client briefs.Strong understanding of kitchen design, architectural design, and product design principles.Experience in client servicing and managing multiple stakeholders within complex projects.Excellent team leadership skills, with the ability to manage collaboration, deadlines, and project direction.Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.Proficiency in design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp) is a plus.Requirements: Sales experience Ability to close sales to target.Bespoke Design Ability to create bespoke concepts in relation to brief, understanding of kitchen design/architectural design/products design et al.Client Management Experience of client servicing, managing multiple stakeholders within each project.Team Leadership Managing team collaboration, deadlines and project leadership.Remuneration: Salary & Bonus Basic Salary (variable on experience)Benefits 2% commission on Sale
