Senior Dev Ops Engineer at Northwestern Mutual Life Insurance Company in Milwaukee, WI will dsgn & evaluate devops processes & controls to comply with information protection policies & standards as well as industry best-practices. Telecommuting permitted. Salary $108,568- $194,350 per year. Reqs a Master's deg in Comp Sci, Comp Engg, Software Engg, or related field, plus 2 yrs (or a bachelor's deg plus 5 yrs) of exp as a software dvlpmt engineer or related occupation. Exp must include 2 yrs with each of the following: dvlpg & maintaining software applications using Python, Javascript, & Powershell; CI/CD concepts & tools, including GitLab or Jenkins, testing concepts, change mgmt, blue/green, Docker, Kubernetes, & infrastructure as code including Terraform; Amazon Web Services or Microsoft Azure; monitoring tools, including ELK Stack, Splunk, CloudWatch, Grafana, & Prometheus; writing scripts to automate routine tasks, configuration mgmt, & deployment process; & managing & troubleshooting systems, networks, & security configurations.
