IT-Applications & Workflow Specialist Millennium Physician Group Full Time (Monday-Friday 8AM-5PM) 12871 University Dr, Fort Myers, FL Millennium Physician Group is seeking to hire a full-time Applications & Workflow Specialist to join our Business Services Team in the Fort Myers, FL, area. We are looking for a new team member who is -positive, energetic, able to multi-task, and loves patient interaction. We want someone who supports our top initiative of ensuring an excellent patient experience! The Applications & Workflow Specialist will be responsible for on-the-job training, focusing on teaching specific areas of knowledge for clinical, clerical and provider positions in a medical practice to drive medical margin, including healthcare systems (e.g. EHR, telehealth, pre-registration, etc.) and MPG's Best Practices. The A & W Specialist will analyze data related to workflow, processes and reporting to evaluate the efficiency of current-state business processes and process changes to improve provider experience on MPG platforms. The A & W Specialist will work with the A & W Supervisor to request new, or updates to existing, training materials. The A & W Specialist will support and serve as a role model for new clinical and clerical staff members, using MPG Best Practices, including proper documentation of BOI, while our care teams become acclimated to their new workflows. A & W Specialists may work as backfill for office staff, clerically and clinically and will troubleshoot workflows and systems usage. The A & W Specialist will be responsible to report findings for all trainings and site visits, giving status reports to the A & W Supervisor, to help identify successes and areas for improvement. Essential Duties and Responsibilities (and other responsibilities as applicable): Leads and assists with workshops and/or trainings for the purpose of conveying and gathering information required to perform job functions Conduct training for care teams on new workflows for projects/systems, leveraging MPG's EMR to drive medical margin. Identifies problems and opportunities, such as operational changes or external developments, that A & W could improve, enhancing the provider experience with MPG platforms Will travel to all offices including newly acquired practices to observe, train, validate and improve efficiencies via various training methodologies. Reports status/findings for site visits and/or training sessions to A & W Supervisor Serves as a subject matter resource for the healthcare content specialist for course content and reference materials Maintains the implementation planning toolkit for prioritized projects Works the training support line and completes assigned support tickets Utilize various metrics, reports and discussions to identify and assess specific training needs within current practices and newly integrated practices to assimilate to MPGs culture Identifies problems and opportunities such as operational changes or external developments that A & W could improve Collaborate with L & D, Practice Optimization, Integrations, Innovation and Clinical Systems team Ability to travel up to 80% of the time Required Knowledge and Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a medical practice organization Preferred CMA/RMA or LPN Proficiency in MS Office and in database software Athena experience preferred Benefits: 3 weeks PTO & 7 paid holidays Medical, Dental, Vision Employer Paid Basic Life & Short Term Disability coverage (goes into effect after 1 year of full-time employment) 401(k) with match Employee Wellness Other Employee Discount programs like Tickets at Work and cell phone discounts Other benefits: Dependent Care FSA, Voluntary Life, Long Term Disability, Critical Illness, Pet Insurance, and more See Full Job Description for more details Why Millennium?
