ObGyn physician employment in Massachusetts : Locums Springfield, Massachusetts, OB/GYN Opening Clinical Role: Do you know someone that might be a good fit for this position? Dates of Coverage: ASAP possible until early 2025 TBD Cover 15-18 24-Hour shifts per month Weekends needed On Call Requirements: 24-hour call Call Schedule: to be worked out with the employed team/scheduler Practice Setting: OBGYN-Labor and Delivery /Hospital ED and OR Coverage No outpatient or elective surgeries Total Number of Beds: 16 beds- 6 labor/10 postpartum 4 Physicians in Practice Other OB/GYNs will provide coverage during Locums coverage dates How Many APPs Provide Coverage: 10 Onsite Lab Onsite Ultrasound Office Equipment: Full complement of supplies Support Staff: Full complement-RN, CNM's, 24 hour Peds, Anesthesia and surgical PA's available on site Percentage of Practice is Low Risk Pregnancy: 100% Percentage of Practice is High Risk Pregnancy: 0% Percentage of Practice is GYN: 15% --GYN emergency coverage only Percentage of Patients are C-Section: 25% Average Number of Nursery Admissions Per Day: 2 per day Level One Nursery EMR: Meditech Required Obstetrics Procedures: Low Risk Pregnancy (i.e. History of Twins, Toxemia, Pyelonephritis, etc.) FHR Interpretation NST/CST/FSE, OB ultrasounds Performance of Interpretation, OB ultrasounds Performance of Level I/Screening (Viability) Labor and Delivery Required Procedures: Routine Delivery Vaginal, Low Forceps, Decision-Making for C-Section, Complicated Delivery C-Section, Breech, Multiple Births, Abruptions, etc., VBACs, Repair of 3rd & 4th Degree Lacerations Gynecology Required Procedures: D&C, Surgical Gynecology Open, Laparoscopic Diagnostic/Minor Only-Tubal Ligation LOAs, Chromal Tubation, Operative/Major (Includes Diagnostic) Ectopic Pregnancy, Ovary Removal, Cystectomy, Extensive LOAs Board Certified or Board Eligible- Required BLS- Required Active MA License- Required Local Candidates- Highly Preferred Allow RecruitWell to set up a phone call with you and the client to discuss more!
