Shift Details: 1st Shift: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM Position Overview: As a vital member of our maintenance team, the Industrial Maintenance Electrician is tasked with ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing facility. This role encompasses the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of complex electrical systems, including 480 volt and PLC-based systems. Additionally, the role supports a range of mechanical and facility maintenance tasks. Primary Roles & Responsibilities: Electrical System Installations: Install wire and conduit for both newly installed and existing equipment, ensuring all installations meet the required safety and quality standards. Maintenance and Repair: Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems, including 480 volt and PLC-based systems. Replace faulty electrical components of machines such as relays, switches, and motors. Technical Reading: Proficiently read and interpret electrical block diagrams, schematics, and ladder logic to effectively diagnose and resolve issues. Facility Maintenance: Participate in various facility maintenance tasks, including but not limited to plumbing, HVAC systems, and general building upkeep. Mechanical Maintenance: Assist with hydraulic and pneumatic system repairs, and replace pumps and motors; ensure all machinery operates at peak efficiency. Documentation: Keep detailed logs of all maintenance and repair work, maintaining compliance with safety standards and operational policies. Safety Compliance: Strictly adhere to industry safety standards and regulations to maintain a secure workplace. Team Collaboration: Work closely with other team members to develop and implement facility-wide maintenance strategies. Required Skills & Qualifications: License Required: Must possess a valid Journeyman's or Master's Electrical License. Experience: Substantial experience as an Industrial Electrician, with a preference for candidates familiar with the printing industry. Technical Skills: Expertise in managing 480-volt electrical systems and PLCs, along with a comprehensive understanding of mechanical systems including hydraulics and pneumatics. Certifications: Additional certifications in electrical work, HVAC, plumbing, or other mechanically related fields are beneficial.
