The Microsoft Cloud Engineer (Solution Engineer) will work with a professional services team dedicated with a focus on helping customers migrate to cloud technologies. The Microsoft Cloud Engineer is required to have extensive experience with Office 365 and Azure Cloud technologies to provide subject matter expert support to clients and participate in the deployment of complex enterprise scale Microsoft Office 365 and Azure solutions. The Microsoft Cloud Engineer position is responsible for innovative design, implementation, management, and support of Microsoft Azure and Office 365 cloud technologies with an emphasis on performance, security, automation, and deployment. This role is heavily customer facing and requires excellent communication skills and a commitment to providing the highest quality customer service. Essential Job Functions: Technical lead and subject matter expert of Microsoft cloud and hybrid deployments including virtualization, networking, storage, automation, data protection, data migrations, tenant migrations, and security for all Office 365 and Azure technologies. Design, develop, and build cloud solution architectures and evaluate architectural alternatives for private, public and hybrid cloud models, including IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, and other cloud services. Implement cloud solutions that are designed for high availability and performance to meet service level agreements, functional requirements, and disaster recovery readiness for business continuity based on customer requirements. Provide guidance to customers cloud architecture vision and technical roadmaps and advocate from a strategic perspective to drive cloud transformation based on customer requirements. Develop and maintain detailed design and deployment documentation including as built documentation and technical diagrams. Maintain and willing to adapt with Microsoft cloud technologies including all Office 365 and Azure solutions and offerings. Able to be a technical lead when speaking to customers during pre-sales and discovery meetings. Promote ConRes Professional and Managed Services when speaking to customers. Required Skills: Must have strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Strong interpersonal skills are required for effective communication with internal team members, customers and partners. A proactive "can-do" attitude with strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Excellent organization and time management skills. Creative and self-motivated mindset to further technical capabilities. Expertise and technical knowledge of all Microsoft Office 365 Cloud offerings. Ability to work well in a team environment Ability to translate customer business needs into technology specifications. Required Experience: BS degree or equivalent work experience 3+ years' experience designing, configuring and supporting Microsoft Office 365 Cloud Technologies, including the following: Tenant deployments for O365 and Azure, including hybrid and non-hybrid configuration. Azure and O365 tenant to tenant migrations, utilizing native Microsoft & third-party tools. Azure/O365 MFA, and Conditional Access Data migrations for Exchange Online, OneDrive, Teams, and SharePoint. Including tenant to tenant and or on-premise to O365. Exchange Online, deployment, configuration, and migrations between on-premise and tenant migrations. Intune/Endpoint Management including MAM, MDM, device management, software deployments, and Autopilot. Strong scripting & PowerShell skills Third-party cloud app integration with Azure and O365. Strong Identity Management skills including Microsoft ADFS and Azure AD Enterprise Apps. Third-party identity management integration with Microsoft ADFS and Azure AD Enterprise Apps. 10+ years' experience designing, configuring and supporting on-premise Microsoft Technologies, including the following: Windows Server 2012, 2012R2, 2016, 2019, 2022. Microsoft Active Directory, including infrastructure services such as DNS, DHCP, NPS and Certificate Services. SQL Server 2012, 2014, 2016, 2017, 2019. Exchange 2013/2016/2019 implementation and Migrations from on-premise to Exchange Online. Azure ADConnect implementation, and configuration ADFS SSO implementation and configuration and integration with Azure Configuration and management of Windows Server 2012, 2016, 2019, 2022 environments in an Azure and on-premise environment. Knowledge of industry best practices for designing, implementing, and maintaining Cloud computing technologies, including Microsoft Azure and O365. In-depth technical knowledge of Active Directory Domain Services design principles and best practices to complement expertise in Azure Active Directory. Certifications Desired (more the better!)
