Regular or Temporary: Regular Language Fluency: English (Required) Work Shift: 1st shift (United States of America) Please review the following job description: Senior Manager, Cybersecurity Business Office, plays a pivotal role in driving the strategic direction, operational excellence, and financial stewardship of the Cyber Operations and Technology organization. This position offers an exciting opportunity to lead transformative initiatives and make a meaningful impact on the organization's cybersecurity posture and overall business success. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Following is a summary of the essential functions for this job. Other duties may be performed, both major and minor, which are not mentioned below. Specific activities may change from time to time. Governance and Compliance Manages cybersecurity risk and compliance functions which include establishing cyber polices and standards designed to safeguard the firm's systems and data, performing assessments to identify, manage and mitigate cyber risks, assess, and guide remediation of compliance gaps, maintain library of cyber risks and controls, and evaluate and track the cyber program maturity, security advisor to business segments and functions.Manage Truist's Cyber Operations and Technology ongoing governance, risk & compliance (GRC) capabilities. A key contact for groups both inside and outside of Corporate Cyber Security (CCS), inwardly and outwardly focused on the three lines of defense.Establishes a strategic approach to information/cyber security compliance according to laws and regulations.Collaborates within CCS and with LoD1 and LoD2 risk teams to develop top-down cyber risk management processes.Partners with IT front-line risk management, second line technology risk & compliance and third line Truist Audit Services (TAS) to deliver accurate and complete CCS-authored examination responses, and presentations within prescribed deadlines. Financial Management Manage the Cybersecurity Technology and Operations budget in partnership with Truist's Finance office, including forecasting, planning, and expense tracking.Develop financial metrics and reporting mechanisms to monitor budget performance and resource utilization.Identify cost optimization opportunities and recommend strategies to maximize return on investment. Performance Management and Reporting Define key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the effectiveness of cybersecurity programs and operations.Establish reporting mechanisms to provide visibility into cybersecurity performance and compliance with internal policies and external regulations.Present performance metrics and insights to senior leadership and stakeholders on a regular basis. Business Improvement | Resource Planning and Allocation Identify opportunities to streamline processes, automate repetitive tasks, and improve operational efficiency within the cybersecurity organization.Implement best practices and standards for project management, governance, and service delivery.Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement across the cybersecurity business office.Collaborate with cybersecurity leadership to assess resource needs and prioritize initiatives based on business objectives.Allocate resources effectively to support project delivery, operational activities, and strategic initiatives.Optimize staffing levels and skills mix to meet current and future cybersecurity requirements.Ideal Candidate will have:Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, technologies, and industry best practices.Proven track record of managing budgets, vendor relationships, and complex projects in a cybersecurity or IT environment.Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across departments and levels of the organization.Strategic thinker with the ability to translate business objectives into actionable plans and initiatives. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.Bachelor's degree and eight years of experience in systems engineering or administration or an equivalent combination of education and work experienceDeep specialized and/or broad functional knowledge in applied enterprise information security technologies including but not limited to firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, network operating systems, identity management, database activity monitoring, encryption, content filtering, and Mainframe securityCISSP CertificationPrevious experience in leading complex IT projects Preferred Qualifications: Master's degree or MBA and ten years of experience or an equivalent combination of education and work experienceBanking or financial services experienceOther security certifications (e.g. CCNA Security, GSEC, GCED, GPPA, etc.)Other technical Certifications (e.g. CCNA, RHCE, MCSE, etc.) OTHER JOB REQUIREMENTS / WORKING CONDITIONS Sitting Constantly (More than 50% of the time) Visual / Audio / Speaking Able to access and interpret client information received from the computer and able to hear and speak with individuals in person and on the phone. Manual Dexterity / Keyboarding Able to work standard office equipment, including PC keyboard and mouse, copy/fax machines, and printers. Availability Able to work all hours scheduled, including overtime as directed by manager/supervisor and required by business need.
