Our team brings data, analytics, and insights to shape critical talent decisions and strategy at Capital One. We work closely with HR partners and senior executives in shaping talent policy, automating data-driven insights, and improving talent decision-making.You will manage a team of analysts and apply your strategic and analytical skills to solve open-ended, complex questions about how we should attract, develop, and retain top talent. You will team up with world-class professionals and senior leadership and work on impactful projects. Your day-to-day might involve:Developing analyses and tools to help business leaders build a future-ready workforceBuilding models to predict attrition, and testing new retention strategiesDesigning new ways to understand and measure associate potentialYou will do this all in a collaborative environment that promotes continuous learning, rewards innovation, and prioritizes your development.General Responsibilities: Strategic leadership: Develop business strategies that will drive growth, profitability, and competitive success for Capital One in the face of shifting consumer and regulatory demandsLeadership: May manage and develop multiple analysts. Coaching and mentoring associates with a goal of developing and retaining talent at Capital OneProduct: Develop and implement new product strategies for various products; lead product level data modeling/analyticsExecution: Manage and sequence delivery of business intent, build business requirements and execute against the product strategy. Oversee multiple projects and programs concurrentlyPartnership: Work closely with colleagues across Capital One including: IT, HR, Operations, Finance and others to drive improvement in talent outcomesStrategic; analytic orientation: A proven track record of decision making and problem solving based on analytics. Conceptual thinking skills must be complemented by a strong quantitative orientationStrong business judgment, leadership and integrity: A tenacious decision maker, able to bring a healthy, aggressive, yet responsible approach to businessSolid people leadership experience: Ability to build and leverage the capabilities of a high-performing team, as well as business partners across the enterprise. Foster innovation, drive critical decisions, hold business partners accountable, and be able to consistently deliver resultsStrong executive communication skills: Impeccable written and oral communication credentials, coupled with strategic influencing skills and the ability to drive agreement through intellect, interpersonal and negotiation skillsClear results orientation: display an intense focus on achieving both short and long term goals.
