Position OverviewThe department of Palliative Medicine at Lehigh Valley Health Network is constantly improving our skills and innovative approach to care including non-invasive and non-surgical treatment options for pain and injuries. Our team provides a comprehensive approach to treatment for our patients with the highest quality of care. Join our innovative team and receive the support of a large health care network committed to the community we serve.We are hiring Nurse Practitioners who have exceptional clinical and interpersonal skills to join our Palliative Care Team.Practice Overview:As the Section of Palliative Medicine and Hospice, we are a part of the fabric of care at LVHN, with a fully integrated palliative care continuum to assure optimal patient experience. Education is part of our culture as we have 2 ACGME Fellows per year that interface with our entire team. Our specialty-trained palliative care team, including MD's, CRNP's, Social Workers, Licensed Professional Counselor, RN's, and administrative staff care for patients when they are in the hospital, in our office-based practice, or in our nationally recognized home-based service. These positions responsibilities include:See patients in the inpatient consult service via in-person + telehealthHome-based and an outpatient clinic (In-person + telehealth access)Symptom management and care coordinationQualificationsA network champion for Palliative Care and a passion for the clinical workWill consider new grads with 5+ years of RN experience, preferably inpatient, ICU or ED experience.A valid Pennsylvania Certification/ License
