We are hiring an experienced, hard-working, Sr Production Supervisor to help get us to the next level of production. Job Summary: We are actively seeking a dedicated and experienced Cannabis Sr Production Supervisor to oversee all aspects of our cannabis pre roll manufacturing. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for Supervising the entire Pre roll packaging production process, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, maintaining product quality, production throughputs and efficiencies, and leading our dynamic Pre Roll production teams. Responsibilities: Supervision and Leadership: Lead and supervise the pre-roll manufacturing team, providing guidance, motivation, and support to ensure efficient operations and a positive work environment. Production Planning: Develop and implement production schedules to meet demand while maintaining optimal inventory levels. Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless production processes. Quality Control: Oversee all aspects of the pre-roll manufacturing process, including raw material procurement, rolling, packaging, and labeling, to ensure compliance with company standards, state regulations, and industry best practices. Compliance: Stay up-to-date with state regulations governing cannabis manufacturing and ensure all production activities adhere to legal requirements. Implement and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure compliance and product consistency. Inventory Management: Manage inventory levels of raw materials, packaging materials, and finished products. Monitor inventory levels, conduct regular audits, and coordinate with procurement and logistics teams to optimize inventory turnover. Training and Development: Provide training to production staff on proper manufacturing techniques, safety protocols, and compliance procedures. Identify opportunities for skill development and career advancement within the team. Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, productivity, and quality within the pre-roll manufacturing process. Implement process improvements, equipment upgrades, and workflow optimizations as needed. Communication: Maintain open and transparent communication channels with cross-functional teams, including cultivation, extraction, packaging, and distribution teams. Collaborate with other departments to address production-related issues and achieve company goals. Qualifications: Previous experience in cannabis production/manufacturing, particularly in pre-roll manufacturing, is preferred (but not necessary). Proven supervisory or managerial experience, with a strong track record of leading teams and achieving production targets. In-depth knowledge of cannabis regulations in California, including METRC compliance and quality assurance protocols. Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with team members at all levels of the organization. Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on quality control and continuous improvement. Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and willingness to work occasional weekends or evenings as needed. Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (such as business, agriculture, or biology) is preferred but not required.
