This position entails:Job Overview:Provide legal representation to clients in workers' compensation defense cases.Handle various aspects of litigation, including discovery, depositions, motions, and hearings.Communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, and opposing parties.Demonstrate high energy and capacity for handling caseload efficiently.Duties:Represent clients in workers' compensation cases from inception to resolution.Conduct legal research and draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs.Attend hearings, trials, and other legal proceedings as necessary.Collaborate with senior attorneys and paralegals on case strategy and management.Maintain accurate and organized case files and documentation.Requirements:Minimum of 3 years of experience in worker's compensation defense.Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.Admission to the Florida State Bar in good standing.Proven track record of success in litigating workers' compensation cases.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.Education and Certifications:Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.Admission to the Florida State Bar.Skills:Proficiency in legal research and writing.Excellent negotiation and advocacy skills.Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.Familiarity with relevant laws, regulations, and court procedures related to workers' compensation.
