The ideal candidate will have at least 6 years of relevant experience, focusing on executive compensation matters. The role requires a strong academic background, commitment to exceptional client service, and membership in the California Bar.Duties:Provide legal counsel and strategic advice to clients on various employee benefits and executive compensation matters.Draft, review, and negotiate executive compensation agreements, including employment contracts, equity compensation plans, and severance agreements.Advise clients on qualified retirement plans, non-qualified deferred compensation arrangements, and health and welfare benefit plans.Assist clients in navigating complex regulatory compliance issues related to ERISA, IRS, and other relevant laws and regulations.Participate in due diligence reviews and provide legal support for mergers, acquisitions, and other corporate transactions.Handle disputes and litigation related to employee benefits and executive compensation matters when necessary.Requirements:Minimum of 6 years of experience practicing law, focusing on employee benefits and executive compensation.Extensive experience working on executive compensation matters, including equity compensation, deferred compensation, and incentive plans.Strong understanding of qualified retirement plans, health and welfare benefit plans, and ERISA compliance.Excellent academic record from a reputable law school.Admission to the State Bar of California is required.Demonstrated commitment to providing high-quality client service and delivering practical legal solutions.Education and Certifications:Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.Membership in good standing with the State Bar of California.Skills:Exceptional legal research and writing skills.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.Proven track record of delivering results and meeting deadlines.
