Profession: Registered Nurse (RN) Location: Richmond Virginia Specialty: Pre Op Unit: Perioperative, PCU, Pre-Op Gross Pay: TBD Schedule: Nights - 3 x 12, 19:00:00-07:00:00, 12.00-3 Guaranteed Hours: 36 Openings: 1 Start Date: 05/13/2024 End Date: 08/12/2024 Assignment Length: 13 Experience Required: 1 year JOB ID: Medefis559134890 Other Info: ID: 59134890 Shift: Nights - 8, 10, or 12-hour shifts Description: Perisurgical RN - Gateway 5 Same Day SurgeryResponsibilities:Take care of post surgical patients on the overnight wings of the Gateway 5 Peri-surgical Unit.We often have pre ops and post ops in the middle of the night so they should feel comfortable managing those as well.Procedural experience would be ideal so they have an understanding of consents and pre-op standards. Specific requirements:Must have at least 2 years of Progressive/Intermediate Care experience.Experience preparing patients for surgery pre op, post op care required.BLS requiredShift: Nightshift (Monday-Friday).Can do 8, 10, or 12-hour shifts. Additional Information:Orientation: The first 16 hours of orientation are unpaid. Call Off Policy: 5 shifts (or the equivalent hours) per 13 week assignment. Parking: Travelers may need to pay for parking at VCU depending on how close they want to be to the hospital.
