Summary Busy Bee Preschool is Expanding! We just opened a new preschool facility in Longmont and we are looking for a lead Pre-k teacher. This position can be full or part time. We are looking for a person who takes the initiative, is reliable, fun loving and detail oriented. The ideal candidate has experience working with all ages, understands the importance of good communication with both co-teachers and parents, and has a solid understanding of working as a team. A strong work ethic is required. You must have work experience working in a childcare center. We are looking for a creative, flexible teacher to help us build a great program. Our program is designed for children aged 3.-5We offer smaller student to teacher ratios in all of our classes. We are privately owned, not a corporate center. The administration values its staff and works along with them daily. If you are looking for a change and a place that values their staff, we would love to meet with you. Duties Create fun and interactive learning experiences for the students Project a positive and upbeat attitude while working in a fast paced environment Develop strong relationships with our families Ensure all center policies and state regulations are met. Ensure a healthy classroom environment Demonstrate highly effective organizational, time management and multitasking skills Having a genuine love for children and a strong commitment to education. Requirements Minimum of 2 years of professional child care experience Professional Dependable High level of integrity Strong oral and written communication skills and basic computer skills. High energy and the ability to work well with others (staff, children, and parents) and to foster a team environment. Ability to multi-task Strong organizational and time management skills A strong understanding of child development. Infant/child CPR and First Aid certification.( or willing to obtain) Nice To Haves ECE 101 or 103 EQIT Pyramid Plus STEM experience Benefits PTO sick leave main holidays off paid training potential for bonus caring and supportive work environment 401k opportunity
