The Part-Time Center Retail Associate delivers world-class customer service to all retail customers. They are also responsible for receiving and processing packages for courier shipment and operating copiers, fax machines, binding equipment, laminating machines, and point-of-sale devices. The Associate expertly advises our valued customers by providing accurate information on our array of products, services, and best-value options and exhibits confidence by knowing best practices related to the industry.The ideal candidate is responsible for making sure each customer has a positive experience while in the store. Has previous experience in a pack and shipping retail store, with strong computer skills. A high school diploma or GED, a friendly and genuinely helpful demeanor, and a professional appearance.RESPONSIBILITIES• Delivers outstanding customer service to walk-in customers and telephone inquiries• Exhibits active listening skills with customers, store team members, and leadership• Takes ownership of the customer's shipping needs and offers viable solutions• Takes initiative to become well versed in all product and service offerings, alternative solutions, and industry trends• Ability to multitask and pay close attention to detail in a fast-paced environment• Operates all equipment, software, and devices in an expert fashion and is willing to teach others• Maintains a clean, organized, and safe working environment• Performs other duties as assignedQUALIFICATIONS• High school diploma or GED required• Must submit to a Criminal Background Check• Must have valid, unrestricted Driver’s License• Strong computer and typing skills, including Microsoft Office• Outstanding phone skills• Strong verbal and written communication skills, including spelling and math• Prompt, reliable, and responsible• Able to lift up to 70 pounds• Willing and able to work 20 hours per week for a 5-day flexible work week Fill out the application online: https://forms.office.com/r/sJZhPrnVqG.Direct Questions and Resumes to XXXX@newcastlemailbox.com
