Preferred Qualifications: Education: High School Diploma or GED Experience: 5 years' experience as an industrial mechanic Languages: English & Spanish Skills: Working knowledge of truck electrical system and maintenance, Vocational education / training preferred Duties and Responsibilities: This position is responsible for complete inspection, Maintenance, diagnosis and repair of Diesel and Propane Forklifts and mules at the different company locations. Observe functioning of forklifts and mules to detect hazards/problems and need for adjustments, repairs or replacement Duties will include adding fluids, changing air filters, updating service records, and reporting of maintenance issues requiring repair. Prepare equipment in accordance with company standards Perform routine and preventive maintenance on forklift and mules equipment Safely disassemble, and repair or replace broken parts Dismantle, test and analyze malfunctioning equipment, hand tools and power tool and tests apparatus to locate defects Inspect, press wash and fuel equipment Clean and lubricate parts Document all work performed Knowledge of diesel engines and electric systems Ability to read schematics and isolate component failures Must provide own tools Valid US Driver's license Other duties as assigned Equal Opportunity Employer/Veteran/Disabled Delivering on demand
