The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in heavy asset divorces, highly contentious family law, and dependency matters, along with exceptional trial skills and negotiation abilities. The successful candidate will manage full case handling responsibilities from inception through resolution, cultivating client relationships and providing strategic leadership to support staff.Duties:Cultivate relationships with the firm’s existing and future clientsAnalyze case-specific legal issues and documentationFoster and maintain an excellent rapport with clients through consistent communication and thorough advisementManage full case-handling responsibilities from inception through resolutionIndependently handle decision-making on a case-by-case basisDevelop a strategic approach and provide leadership and direction to paralegals and legal assistantsWork as part of a team with all levels of experience and be open to cross-training for coverage outside the associate dutiesConduct and defend depositionsPrepare clients for trialSupervise support staff and teamParticipate in mediation and settlement conferencesHandle cases from inception to trialEffectively manage client expectationsParticipate in community involvement activitiesStay open-minded and adaptable to evolving legal landscapesRequirements:Minimum of 7 years of experience in family law practiceExperience in heavy asset divorces, highly contentious family law, and dependency mattersCommunity involvement demonstrates a commitment to social responsibilityTrial skills and experience conducting evidentiary hearingsNegotiation skills and experience in mediation and settlement conferencesExcellent written and oral communication skillsAbility to effectively manage client expectationsSelf-starter with the ability to handle challenges and resolve themLicensed to practice law in FloridaDeposition experienceStrong networking skillsEducation and Certifications:Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law schoolAdmission to the Florida State BarThis position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic legal environment.
