CVH (No. 3) operating as Southbridge Owen Sound is currently looking to add caring, passionate, and enthusiastic Licensed Practical Nurses (Full-time) to our amazing home family, who can serve our lovely residents, to keep them safe, healthy, and happy. On a daily basis, our Licensed Practical Nurses will enhance the effective management and quality of nursing practices in keeping with the standards and expectations set out by governing bodies and internal policies and standards of care. Duties: • Ensuring exceptional resident care is provided while following protocols and maintaining physicians’ orders• Observing, reporting, and recording vital signs, symptoms and conditions of residents and initiating remedial health measures where• appropriate. • Performing nursing interventions such as taking vital signs, applying aseptic techniques including sterile dressing, ensuring infection control, • monitoring nutritional intake, and conducting specimen collection• Providing nursing services, within defined scope of practice, to patients based on patient backssment and care planning procedures• Administering medication and observing and documenting therapeutic effects•.
