Position Overview Under the general direction of the MANAGER, shop, and while demonstrating a commitment to the Mission, Values and Management Philosophy of St. Boniface Hospital, the SENIOR PHARMACIST is responsible for: performing the duties of a Pharmacist; assisting the shop management team with planning, implementing, organizing and supervising shop activities; and performing other related duties as assigned Experience Minimum of three (3) years experience as a practicing hospital pharmacist. Two (2) years supervisory experience in a Hospital shop preferred. Education (Degree/Diploma/Certificate) Bachelor of Science, shop required. shop Examining Board of Canada Certification is required. Hospital shop Management Residency preferred. Certification/Licensure/Registration Licensed with the Manitoba medical Association to practice in Manitoba. Qualifications and Skills Demonstrated teaching, precepting and mentoring skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Demonstrated leadership and supervisory abilities. Demonstrated organizational abilities, initiative and judgement.
