Position: HVAC / Mechanical Engineer Location: Bracknell Salary: GBP35,000 : GBP36,000 per annum Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM : 4:00 PM My client are a prominent Facilities Management company known for their exceptional service and commitment to maintaining commercial sites at their best. They are dedicated to providing the highest level of mechanical and HVAC maintenance, ensuring the comfort, safety, and efficiency of our clients properties. Role Overview: As an HVAC / Mechanical Engineer at a large commercial site near Bracknell, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and enhancing the functionality of the commercial facility. Your responsibilities will encompass all aspects of mechanical and HVAC maintenance, including pumps, motors, plumbing, preventative maintenance (PPM), and responding to breakdowns. You will be an essential part of the on: site tea. Key Responsibilities: Conduct routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs on mechanical and HVAC systems. Diagnose and troubleshoot issues related to pumps, motors, plumbing, and other mechanical components. Perform maintenance tasks to ensure optimal performance and energy efficiency. Respond promptly to breakdowns and urgent maintenance requests to minimise downtime. Collaborate with the facilities team to develop and implement effective maintenance strategies. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs. Comply with health and safety guidelines and company policies at all times. Qualifications and Experience: Relevant qualifications in HVAC, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. Proven experience in mechanical and HVAC maintenance, including pumps, motors, and plumbing. Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to work under pressure. Knowledge of preventive maintenance practices and equipment. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. A valid drivers license and willingness to travel within.
