Are you an experienced Building Control Surveyor looking for a challenging role with a reputable main contractor? My client, a leading construction company, is seeking a motivated individual to join their team as a Building Control Surveyor. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a variety of projects, predominantly based within the M25, with occasional travel to sites further out. Responsibilities include: Conducting thorough inspections and backssments of construction sites to ensure compliance with building regulations and industry standards. Ensuring the project is in line with the gateway 2 requirements to avoid any delays in the delivery of the project Providing expert advice and guidance to project teams on building control matters, including design proposals and risk management. Collaborating closely with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure timely resolution of issues and adherence to regulatory requirements. Preparing clear and accurate reports detailing findings, recommendations, and compliance status. Demonstrating a strong commitment to quality and safety standards, ensuring all work is carried out to specified standards and within agreed budgets. Desirable Requirements: Proven experience working on residential projects. Strong knowledge of UK building regulations and standards. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Comfortable working from the head office all week, with occasional travel to construction sites.
