Key Responsibilities: Take ownership of the operation, maintenance, and repair of mechanical systems within commercial buildings in the City of London. Conduct regular inspections, preventive maintenance, and reactive repairs on mechanical equipment, including HVAC, pumps, fans, and plumbing. Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical faults, ensuring efficient resolution to minimize downtime and disruption. Collaborate closely with the facilities management team, contractors, and clients to coordinate maintenance activities and deliver high: quality service. Keep accurate records of maintenance tasks, including work completed, materials used, and equipment performance. Stay up to date with industry best practices, regulations, and emerging technologies relevant to mechanical systems. Skills and Qualifications: Proven experience as a Mechanical Engineer, preferably within facilities management. Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, including HVAC, pumps, fans, and plumbing. Ability to diagnose and resolve mechanical issues efficiently. Familiarity with relevant regulations and industry standards. Excellent problem: solving and decision: making skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with clients and colleagues. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
