We are currently working with one of the UKs largest gaming companies based in Burton who are looking for a Junior Java Script Game Developer. BENEFITS: GBP25k:28k, 25 days holiday plus bank holidays and your birthday off, plus the opportunity to buy or sell extra days, employee discounts on holidays, days out and retail, social events, annual bonuses, pension, stock purchase plans and flexible working and a few days per week working from home We are currently recruiting for a Junior Java Script Game Developer to join a cross functional team developing high quality games across their retail platforms. You will be producing functional and operable code working alongside other departments to produce and deliver high quality, graphically rich games for mobiles and web. We are looking for someone who has experience with Java Script and ES6 through either university or commercially, and any exposure to Pixi. JS or Node. JS is a benefit. The company are adopting a hybrid working pattern and offering 2 days work from home, however if you are further away they will be open to fully remote working. The office is in the centre of Burton, close to public transport links and also offers ample parking. Key Requirements Previous experience in development with Java Script and ES6 (either commercially or through university) Knowledge of HTML5 Source control experience (ideally with Github) Excellent communication skills Excellent organisation and time management skills Knowledge of the software development lifecycle. Nice to have Knowledge of Node JS Knowledge or experience with games engines (either Pixi or Phaser) Experience with XML Previous experience working in an Agile environment Relevant qualification (degree) Interested?
