Silverado Creek Seniors Community “Silverado” is seeking a Site Medical Leader/Medical Director for our beautiful Long Term Care home in South Calgary in the community of Silverado. We are owned and operated by Park Place Seniors Living, a leader in Long Term Care with over 30 years of experience. This is a contracted position which will monthly fee to be negotiated with October 1, 2023 start date. In this role, you work along side the Director of Care and Site Leader to support the medical practice in the home. Specifically, we ask for the following; Communicate once per month or as needed with the Director of Care to discuss current medical practice in the home and provide advise and follow-up as needed. Contribute a brief medical update for the Quarterly Home Quality Meeting to include successes and areas for improvement. Help develop the agenda for the annual Medical Advisory Committee. Be a contact for other Physicians whom may have questions or recommendations for the provision of high quality and safe resident care in the home. Working with site medical staff to maintain harmonious relationships. Ensuring all members of medical staff are aware of responsibilities as attending physicians. Communicating with AHS Site Lead Medical as required. Maintain visiting physician status at Silverado.
