Maintenance Engineer (Electrical / Projects) Wrexham Monday to Friday : 3 Shift Salary A GBP 44,457.21 + Company Pension + Private Medical + 25 Days Holiday + Bank Holidays Maintenance Engineer required for a leading manufacturer. This is a great opportunity to join a company that is focused on improving efficiencies across site and allows their engineers to lead projects from start to finish. The ideal candidate will be multi skilled however electrically biased with a basic mechanical understanding will also be suited. You will ideally have completed a recognised apprenticeship and / or be qualified to NVQ level 3 or equivalent in electrical engineering however it is the experience that is really key for this company. You will have experience working in any manufacturing environment and have knowledge of PLCs, Controls, Motor Drives and AC and DC motors. Your role will be split between 30 reactive maintenance and 70 planned maintenance and project work. The company are working to improve efficiencies across site and strongly encourage their engineers to get involved with projects including new builds, installation and working to identify root cause of equipment failure and implement corrective processes. You will be working with ATEX equipment within hazardous environments. Specific health and safety training (COMPEX) will be given to successful candidates. The company form part of a larger international group with their products being supplied into a variety of industries including automotive, aerospace and medical. On this site you will join a team of 5 engineers, working two per shift. The Maintenance Engineer Role: To maintain and repair all process equipment across site. Take part in PPM and Project work across site. Working in a hazardous environment (ATEX equipment). Working a 3 shift pattern.
