The ideal candidate will possess expertise in partnership matters, including drafting, and preferably have experience in energy tax. Strong academic credentials, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and progress towards or possession of an LL.M. in taxation are essential attributes for success in this role.Duties and Responsibilities:Conduct legal research on tax and benefits issues related to energy transactions.Draft and review legal documents, including partnership agreements and tax-related documents.Provide legal advice on tax implications and benefits in energy-related projects.Collaborate with internal teams and clients to ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations.Stay abreast of developments in tax and benefits laws and regulations.Requirements:1-4 years of experience in a transactional tax practice.Experience in partnership matters, with drafting skills being particularly advantageous.Knowledge or experience in energy tax is beneficial.Strong academic credentials with a Juris Doctor (JD) degree.Progress towards or possession of an LL.M. in taxation is preferred.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Education:Juris Doctor (JD) degree.Progress towards or possession of an LL.M. in taxation is preferred.Certifications:Admission to the Bar in the state of Georgia.Skills:Proficiency in conducting legal research on tax and benefits issues.Strong drafting skills for legal documents, particularly in partnership matters.Knowledge or experience in energy tax.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and clients.Stay updated on developments in tax and benefits laws and regulations.
