The ideal candidate will have experience as a judicial clerk, preferably at a federal or state appellate court, along with a completed JD from an accredited law school and excellent academic credentials. Duties:Conduct thorough legal research on complex appellate issues.Draft appellate briefs, motions, and other legal documents with precision and clarity.Prepare for and participate in appellate court proceedings, including oral arguments.Collaborate closely with partners, associates, and clients to develop case strategies.Assist in case management, including maintaining case files and deadlines.Stay abreast of developments in appellate law and procedure. Requirements:Completed Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.Experience as a judicial clerk, particularly at a federal or state appellate court.Strong academic credentials demonstrating excellence in legal studies.Exceptional legal research and writing skills.Proficient oral communication skills for effective advocacy.Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.Detail-oriented with strong organizational capabilities.Admission to the California State Bar (or willingness to become admitted). Education:Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school. Certifications:Admission to the California State Bar. Skills:Excellent legal research abilities.Superb writing skills with attention to detail.Strong interpersonal skills for effective client and team interactions.Ability to analyze complex legal issues.Proficiency in oral communication for court appearances.Familiarity with appellate court procedures and rules.
