The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in personal injury litigation, particularly in California, and will demonstrate proficiency in case development, strategy, and client communication.Duties:Supervise and lead all litigation tasks related to personal injury cases up to and including trialDevelop comprehensive case plans and strategies to maximize case value and pursue aggressive prosecutionConduct targeted discovery, law, and motion practice, expert discovery, and trial workMaintain regular communication with clients to provide updates on case status and progressEnsure resolution of cases to clients' satisfactionRequirements:Minimum of 5 years of personal injury litigation experience in CaliforniaPrevious personal injury trial experience in CaliforniaDemonstrated experience taking at least 5 or more jury trials to verdictPrior experience litigating Traumatic Brain Injuries, Wrongful Death, Catastrophic Injuries, and Surgical Orthopedic casesProficiency in taking party, witness, and expert depositions and preparing cases for trialPrior trial experience is highly desirableFluency in Spanish is a significant assetAdmission to the State Bar of CaliforniaEducation and Certifications:Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law schoolAdmission to the State Bar of CaliforniaSkills:Exceptional litigation skills with a track record of successful outcomesStrong case development and strategy skillsExcellent communication and negotiation abilitiesAbility to work effectively in a fast-paced and high-pressure environmentProficiency in legal research and writingStrong leadership and supervisory skills Helping clients with civil litigation throughout California, this firm specializes in auto accidents, personal injury, product liability, brain injuries, wrongful deaths, catastrophic injuries, and more.
