We’re hiring an Auto Maintenance Tech I to perform repairs and maintenance on a variety of vehicles. Location: 123 Williams Street North, North Dighton, MA 04264 Work Schedule: Start hours are Monday - Friday: 7:00AM - 6:00PM Once comfortable in the new role: Monday - Friday : 8:00AM - 5:00PM Pay Rate: Pay rate starts at $16.00 an hour What You’ll Do: You’ll perform light duty work as an entry-level auto tech. You’ll improve your skills in a supportive environment. Other responsibilities include:Gain familiarity with auto maintenance concepts and practices.Perform auto maintenance tech duties, including oil and filter change, fuel filter change, transmission flush, spark plugs and vehicle inspection.Perform battery testing, maintenance and replacement and testing and repairing of starting and charging electrical systems.Perform various repairs including tires, safety inspections and interior/exterior components.Diagnose and repair brake systems, steering and suspension systems.Perform an evacuation and recharge on the AC system.Perform maintenance on equipment.Utilize approved vendors to obtain parts. Who You Are: You’re a quick learner – especially when it comes to cars and how they work.You’re a team player who always arrives at the shop ready to provide excellent work. You also have the following qualifications:A high school diploma or GED.Safe drivers needed; valid driver’s license required.1 or more years of related work experience.The ability to drive standard, automatic, and electric vehicles.Pop the hood of a brand-new career.#ZRPowered by JazzHR
