Title: Power BI with GIS - Hybrid Location: Richmond, VA, United States Length: Long term Description: ** **Long term***Hybrid at least 3 days/wk onsite required Description: Work with the data science team to build the visualization applications using ArcGIS and PowerBI platforms and also build internal applications using the PowerApps/Powerautomate platform Core responsibilities Gain broad understanding of the VDOT innovation frameworkUse the innovative/latest tools and best practices to build applications using the Power Platform and ArcGISFollow all applicable industry and VDOT standards, processes and ProtocolsEngage multiple customers and develop applications to meet their needsManage stakeholder communications and expectations KSA: Process mapping experience,Code Documentation,Writing Requirements/Scope documents,Writing use-cases,using architectural artifactsinterpreting solution architecturesExcellent written and oral communicationCustomer focused collaborationAbility to travel around the state as neededMinimum of three days in the office to work with the rest of the team Experience: Minimum of 5 years programming experience in a high level compiled language such as C#, C++, JavaMinimum of 5 years experience with scripting languages such as javascript and PythonMinimum of 2 years experience with Microsoft PowerPlatform to include PowerApps, PowerAutomate, SharePoint and Dataverse. (Hard Requirement)Minimum of 5 years experience using GIS for creating dynamic mapping applications and processing real-time location data.Minimum of 5 years experience using RESTFul APISOther Software Knowledge: Visio, Visual Studio Code/Visual Studio Community Edition, SQL Server, Azure Datalakes and Warehouse, Oracle, ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online, ArcGIS Experiences
