Senior Software Developer (Greenwich, CT)(Hybrid)(Mult Pos) (REF#VP2024). Engage in redesign of legacy system & implementation of new system for online brokerage service firm. Design & develop financial applications for clearing, risk management, account & treasury operations. Investigate production issues & resolve them. Review code changes made by other developers to ensure best practices. Hybrid work: 3 days/week in Greenwich office required. Remote work perm 2 days. Requires Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Information System, Engineering or a related field & 5 years experience as a Senior Software Developer or related position developing software applications in the financial services industry. Also requires 3 years experience in each: 1) Java, J2EE & JDBC for dev back-end applications; 2) Development & implementing large scale applications; 3) HTML & Javascript for creating interactive web applications; 4) SQL to execute queries & PL/SQL to execute procedures, functions & packges in Oracle RDBMS. 5) Spring Java Framework & REST services; 6) Linus/Unix operating system.
